چکیده

Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the structure–function characteristics and vision-related quality life (VR-QoL) in uveitic glaucoma (UG) compared with open-angle (OAG). Method: included 69 patients UG 138 primary open angle glaucoma, normal-tension glaucoma. A 25-item National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (VFQ-25) was used evaluate patients’ VR-QoL. retinal nerve fiber layer thickness (RNFLT) measured using optical coherence tomography, integrated visual field (IVF) determined best location method. Results: There were no significant differences binocular IVF mean deviation (MD) affected eye between OAG group, whereas average RNFLT thinner group (p = 0.008). showed a significantly lower composite score five subscales VFQ-25, those < 0.05, for all, general linear model). Multivariate regression analyses that strongest associations whole (β 1.240, p 0.001) association seen only inferior VF 0.596, 0.038). Conclusions: eyes exhibited distinctive worse VR-QoL differentiated them from eyes.

Anterior chamber depth in open angle glaucoma.

Anterior chamber depth was measured in patients with primary open angle glaucoma, low tension glaucoma, pigmentary dispersion syndrome, and glaucoma suspects. Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that anterior chamber depth is a function of sex, age, and refractive error. Values for anterior chamber depth corrected for age and refractive error were greater in patients with pigmentar...

Vision-Related Quality of Life in Herpetic Anterior Uveitis Patients

We investigated the vision-related quality of life (VR-QOL) and the prevalence and severity of depression in patients with herpetic anterior uveitis (AU). This study was conducted in 2012 at the ophthalmology department of the University Medical Center of Groningen (tertiary referral center). We selected patients from an existing uveitis database, all eligible patients were approached. Thirty-s...
